Vern holds a BA in Theatre from Angelo State University. He has been engaged in the construction of entertainment and retail venues for the last 17 years, creating everything from amusement park stunt shows to trade show booths and high end retail environments. Past projects include the Retail Hall at the JFK Airport International Arrivals Terminal, Southwest Airlines Training Center at Dallas Love Field, along with work for Six Flags, Viacom, Yes! Entertainment, The Caribiner Group and Graco Children’s Products. His past experience ranges from broadcast TV production to web development.
At THD, Vern oversees budget, scheduling and construction documents for Meadowlands Xanadu, American Girl Place, ING Direct and other major projects. He coordinates efforts from 3-D animators, CAD technicians, project managers and thematic designers to ensure that all of our work meets a consistent standard.
