Tim Hunter talks "Collaborative Design"
at the SEGD Dynamic Environments 3 workshops

NEW YORK, New York, December 1, 2009 – Tim Hunter was invited to speak at the SEGD Dynamic Environments 3 Conference in New York City on November 12, 2009. His presentation, titled "Collaborative Design, Visualization and the Approval Process," used SEGD Award winning project, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, as an example of innovative communication tools and techniques in a project that was truly a collaboration.

Tim outlined the process THD developed which guided vendors, architects and developers using a visual language that was easily understood by all stakeholders. The success of the project was heavily dependent on ensuring that all parties involved had the same expectations for the screen, and through THD’s process, the final product far exceeded even Harrah’s highest expectations.

The theme of SEGD Dynamic Environments 3 was "The Intersection of Information, Experience, and Architecture: Collaboration Required." The workshops, which took place at a series of dynamic spaces in New York City (including the Hard Rock Café in Times Square where Tim spoke), explored the creative design component, technical requirements, and process of integration in bringing dynamic ideas to reality.
