SAN DIEGO, California, May 30, 2009 – Tim Hunter Design received a Merit Award at the 2009 SEGD Design Awards Presentation & Luncheon in San Diego on Saturday, May 30th. THD was selected for the design of innovative and exciting video content on the complete exterior surface of the new Waterfront Tower at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City.
The annual SEGD Design Awards Program recognizes the best in environmental graphic design and illuminates the pandisciplinary nature of visual communications in the built environment. Past winners have been honored for complex way finding systems, branding and identity work, retail and interior projects, exhibition design, and public art installations.
THD’s motion graphics designers redefined the Atlantic City skyline by creating media content that could be seen for miles and understood as a seamless stream of emotion and evocative imagery across all four facades of the Resort. With this project, Tim Hunter Design has merged visual communication and art to create a truly unique experience on a grand scale.
